Do You Have Generalized Anxiety Disorder?
  1. Have you worried more days than not for at least six months about a number of events or activities, such as work or school?
  2. Do you find it difficult to control the worry?
  3. Do you experience any of the following symptoms, with at least some of the symptoms being present on most days?
    • restlessness or feeling keyed up or on edge
    • being easily fatigued, tired
    • difficulty concentrating
    • irritability
    • muscle tension
    • difficulty falling or staying asleep, or restless sleep
  4. Do the worry and physical symptoms cause you a great deal of distress? Or, is your functioning affected?

If you answered yes to questions #1 and #2, have at least three of the physical symptoms listed under #3, and answered yes to #4, you may have generalized anxiety disorder.
