- Have you worried more days than not for at
least six months about a number of events or activities,
such as work or school?
- Do you find it difficult to control the worry?
- Do you experience any of the following symptoms,
with at least some of the symptoms being present on most
days?
- restlessness or feeling keyed up or on edge
- being easily fatigued, tired
- difficulty concentrating
- irritability
- muscle tension difficulty falling or staying asleep,
or restless sleep
- Do the worry and physical symptoms cause
you a great deal of distress? Or, is your functioning affected?
If you answered yes to questions #1 and #2,
have at least three of the physical symptoms listed under
#3, and answered yes to #4, you may have generalized anxiety
disorder.
