Gregory P. Markway, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical
psychologist. He has worked in the Behavioral Medicine Department
at the Washington University Medical Center and was on the
clinical faculty at the Washington University School of Medicine.
He currently works in St. Marys Health Center’s Mental Health
Services in Jefferson City, Mo.

Education
Dr. Markway received a Doctorate of Philosophy
and a Masters degree from the A.P.A. approved Clinical Psychology
Program at University of Missouri-St. Louis. He also holds
a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the St. Louis
University in St. Louis.
Experience
Dr. Markway is a licensed psychologist in state
of Missouri. Currently, he practices at St. Marys Mental Health
Services in Jefferson City, Mo., where he provides psychological
services for individuals, families, and school systems and
offers seminars to staff and the general public on a wide
variety of psychology and health-related topics. Previously,
he practiced at Markway Psychological Associates/Couple’s
Communication Center in St. Louis, Mo., where he provided
individual, marital and family therapy. His work focused on
children, adolescents and adults diagnosed with mood and anxiety
disorders, trauma reactions, and adjustment disorders using
primarily cognitive-behavioral and interpersonal approaches.
Dr. Markway also has served as a consulting
psychologist for the Lutheran Medical Center, Outpatient Community
Mental Health Center in St. Louis and Jewish Hospital at Washington
University Medical Center, Behavioral Medicine Center in St.
Louis. He served his psychology internship at Norristown
State Hospital in Pennsylvania.
Personal
Interests
Greg is an avid fan of all sports, but his passion
is baseball. He pitched for Helias High School and later at
St. Louis University. Currently, he enjoys coaching his son’s
11-12 year old team and offering pitching lessons for boys
of all ages. Greg also collects historical memorabilia and
loves reading anything about history.
